Fans of the Gran Turismo franchise are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new sequel, and the latest news has revealed some more information confirming that it is one of the most anticipated titles in 2024. As for the initial release date of the game, it is set for March 4.
Information that Gran Turismo 7 will appear on the market in 2024 is accompanied by other innovations – and that is that there has been talking on several occasions about active work on the game and the intention of its completion in the near future.
The Beta Version Is on the Air
What intrigued fans of racing video games (only the 10th most popular video game genre for playing and, accordingly, for betting at top bookies here) is the confirmation of the official PlayStation website in July that there is a beta test version of Gran Turismo 7. It was probably too early an announcement by developers from Polyphony Digital, but after that, gamers rightly wondered when the beta test version of Gran Turismo 7 will be released.
It was then confirmed that the code for the current beta version can be obtained within the “Experience PlayStation“ menu on the console website under the “Start Quest“ option. Then “Related Campaigns” should be selected, before picking “Italia Quest”. The “Gran Turismo Beta (Test)“ is one of four quests in the game. While it appears to be a promotion for Italy, it is actually open to everyone.
Enabled Platforms
The news is also coming about the platforms on which Gran Turismo 7 will be available. Most of the news comes from Sony, and the official PlayStation website lists the impressive features of the video game it will have on the new PS5 console.
The first attribute of Gran Turismo 7 is great graphics with support for HDR and 4K along with “ray tracing“ realistic light displays, and it targets 60 frames per second. The fast SSD on the PlayStation 5 will speed up downloads, and wireless DualSense controllers are a special story. According to the first information, they will contrast in the weight of the brake pedal at different sensitivity ranges, the weight of the accelerator pedal in different types of cars, and will experience different vibrations of the ABS.
It is especially gratifying that the DualSense controller will record every contact of the tire with the road, uneven surfaces, and protrusions through its adaptive triggers and two actuators that simulate various forms of sensation, so the physical connection of the player with the ride will be further deepened. Tempest 3D Audio Tech on compatible headphones will audibly monitor the position of other cars and drivers in the vicinity, so the experience of positioning the sound in space has been improved.
Great announcements of a different gaming experience mean the focus of the game is on the PlayStation 5 console and trying out the new DualSense controllers. Gran Turismo 7 is a PlayStation exclusive and therefore gamers on the Xbox console will not be able to play this video game, and PC users currently only have the option to use the “remote play“ option that is set in the settings to play PlayStation titles. Gran Turismo 7, as with the Xbox console, will not have an official version of the game for PC.
