In this tutorial I am going to show you how to install Ares Wizard on Kodi 18.9 Leia. Ares Wizard is one of the best Kodi addons out there. It is basically a Kodi add-on that transforms your Kodi device into a powerful video streaming machine. We will be installing it on an Android device in this tutorial, but I have also done this on a Raspberry Pi 3 with a custom build of Kodi 18.9 and Kodi Modules.
Kodi has exploded into a full-fledged entertainment center, and the Kodi community is growing at an incredible pace. The Kodi team is always working to improve the user experience, and this new release of Kodi has a lot of great stuff. One of the most exciting new features is Ares Wizard, a program that facilitates easy installation of addons.
If you are an old Kodi user, chances are you have never heard of or used the Ares Assistant version on your Kodi device. Unfortunately, the Ares project was halted due to legal problems. But now it’s back with an update and can be installed on Kodi 18.9 Leia.
Interestingly enough, the new update doesn’t bring any cool stuff to the Ares Wizard build. It only supports the maintenance tool we use to repair and optimize the Kodi cache. So even though it doesn’t offer movies or TV shows, it is a very important utility to install on your Kodi device. This helps us to optimize the size of the Kodi cache, which prevents buffering issues with Kodi. You can also use the Ares Wizard to back up your data before you reset Kodi on the Fire Stick or any other device.
Before installing any third-party add-ons or builds, I highly recommend purchasing a VPN for Kodi to hide your online streaming/browsing activities.

How do I install the Ares Wizard on Kodi 18.9
Now that you know that Ares Wizard is a very important and necessary maintenance tool, follow these steps to install Ares Wizard on your Kodi system.
Installation conditions
Ares Wizard is a third-party plug-in. So first follow the steps below to enable such addons in Kodi :
- Open the settings on the Kodi home screen (by clicking on the cog icon in the top left corner of the window).
- Click on System (for Kodi 18.x) or System Settings (for Kodi 17.6).
- Click on Add-ons on the left side of the page.
- Click on Unknown Sources on the right and activate it.
- Press Yes when prompted
The following step-by-step instructions are suitable for both the Fire TV Stick and PC (Windows and Mac).
Step one: Start Kodi on your device
Step two: Tap Settings (gear icon) at the top left of the screen.
Step three: Open the file manager from the list of options
Step four: Double-click Add Source on the right side of the page.
Step 5: Click <No> under Enter Paths or Browse Media Location.
Step six: Enter or copy the following Ares Wizard download URL and click OK: http://areswizard.co.uk/.
Seventh step: Under Enter a name for this media source, enter the desired name for the addition. Choose a name that you can easily identify later. For this article, I select areas
Step 8: Go back to the Kodi home screen and hit Extras on the left.
Step 9: Click on the folder/box icon in the top left corner.
Step 10: Click on Install from zip file.
Step 11: Click ares , which you created in step 7.
Step 12: Click on the script. areswizard-0.0.69.zip
Step 13: Wait until the addon is installed. This may take a few minutes. You will see a message in the upper right corner.
