I am a Kodi user and I love Xontech builds in Kodi. I have been using Xontech builds in Kodi since the first release of Kodi. Xontech Kodi builds have been working out great for me. I have been trying to find a build that works exactly like the Xontech builds in Kodi, but I never have found it. That is when I decided to make my own Xontech build for Kodi.
Kodi is a free, open source, cross-platform software media player and entertainment hub that allows you to play videos and music from a vast range of content providers including your local video library (i.e. DVD, Blu-ray Disc, laserdisc, VHS and even some cloud services), music (i.e. audio CDs, MP3, WMA and more) as well as viewing pictures and other videos from local and remote media servers (i.e. AFS and FTP) and other internet sources (i.e. FTP).
This guide will show you how to install Xontech Build on Kodi 18.9 (and other versions of Kodi 18 Leia). This version works great on Windows and Mac computers, FireStick and other Fire TV devices, Android TV set-top boxes, Android mobile phones and other devices.
Update: Xontech Build is currently not available. Also check out the other Kodi builds in our list.
As I’ve written before, Xontech is a relatively new version of Kodi, but it looks promising. So I thought I should talk about it a bit and write a guide. I’ve also added it to our list of the best Kodi builds.
Xontech is a device with a simple design, a smooth navigation system and a user-friendly interface. This version has several popular add-ons pre-installed. The main screen of the app offers many streaming categories to get you started.
I can’t say this version is light, but it works flawlessly on all the devices I’ve tried it on, including the FireStick. Sounds like a good configuration to try.
Attention KODI users: please read before continuing
Kodi addons / modules offer unlimited streaming content, but can also get you in legal trouble if you get caught watching movies / TV shows / sports for free. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect a VPN when streaming online. A good Kodi VPN can hide your identity, bypass government surveillance, block content, and ISP throttling (which also contributes to buffer-free streaming).
I use ExpressVPN, which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is very easy to install on any device, including the Amazon FireStick. Get 3 months free and save 49% on annual plans. There is also a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.

Let’s call the TF.

19- Click Continue to allow the Falcon Wizard to clear all Kodi data before installing the build (only appears if you selected Fresh Installation).
20- Now just wait until the Xontech Kodi build is downloaded and installed on your device. This usually takes a few minutes
21- You may be prompted to click on the Force Close option to exit Kodi and complete the installation of the build. If you do not see this message, it means that Kodi has been forcibly shut down.
Reboot Kodi to use the Xontech version.
Before you start streaming video with Kodi addons or modules, I want to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and the government. This means that streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, live broadcasts and sports) can lead to legal problems.
Fortunately, there is a reliable way to hide all your streaming activities from your ISP and the government. All you need is a good VPN for Kodi. A VPN masks your original IP address and helps you bypass Internet monitoring, ISP restrictions, and geographic content limitations.
Personally, I use and recommend ExpressVPN, the fastest and most secure VPN. It is compatible with all types of applications and streaming devices.
OPINION: We do not encourage copyright infringement. But what if you accidentally upload content from an illegal source? It is not always easy to distinguish between a legal and an illegal source.
So before you start streaming on Kodi, read here how to get VPN protection in 3 easy steps.
Step one: Purchase your ExpressVPN subscription HERE. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. This means you can use it for free for the first 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the service (which is unlikely), you can ask for a full refund.
Step two: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN application on your streaming device. If you are using a FireStick, I have included the exact steps below, starting with step 4.
Step three: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your connection is secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.
The steps to install Kodi VPN on Fire TV devices are described below. If you have other broadcast devices, follow steps 1 to 3 above.
Step four: Sign up for ExpressVPN HERE (if you are not already a subscriber).
Step 5: Go to the Fire TV Stick home screen. Click the Search button and then the Search option (see figure below).
Step six: Type expressvpn into the search bar and select when it appears.
Seventh step: Click on the Download button.
Step 8: Open the ExpressVPN application and log in using the username and password you created when you purchased your ExpressVPN subscription.
Step 9: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your FireStick is protected with the fastest VPN.
How to use the Xontech Kodi build : Summary
Like I said, the Xontech Build will be activated when you reopen Kodi after the installation. The first time you start it up, the configuration may take a few minutes. This is due to the updated addons, skins and settings. Make sure all updates are complete before using the build.
You should now see the following Kodi home screen with this version. This is clearly a big improvement over the standard interface.
The layout of the build is pretty standard, something you see regularly with the best Kodi builds. There is a main menu with submenus. If you select a streaming-related item from the main menu, the associated plug-ins are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Xontech’s version of Kodi has several streaming menu items on the home screen, including Movies, Shows, Kids, Music, Live, Sports, 3D-4K, A-Team.
When you select a stream category from the main menu, the suggested content is displayed at the top.
Xontech’s Kodi version has a decent set of Kodi video addons, including DeathStar, Yoda, cCloud TV, The Magic Dragon, SportsDevil, etc.
Most of these addons are already included in our list of the best codi addons.
You can choose to deliver content from the home screen, or go to System > Your Add-ons to deliver content via individual add-ons.
Pronunciation
Xontech Kodi build is a great option for those looking for a mid-range build with a decent collection of Kodi addons. Although the Xontech is not exactly light, it worked very well on my FireStick and flat Android TV boxes.
With many pre-installed add-ons, you can stream all kinds of content including movies, series, sports, live streaming, content for kids, etc.
Xontech’s installation instructions are not complicated. I found it pretty easy to use. The fonts are easy to read and the menu system is simple. I see no reason why you shouldn’t try.
